Creating a mood with light

Cattle and hogs hang in the cooler at Graham's Organic Meats, Rosebush, Mich., Friday, February 12, 2010. These animals were killed the day before and hung in the cooler to age.

My Inspirations

One thing I would really like to do is travel around the world and take photographs as well as stick with photojournalism and maybe even a little bit of portraiture in there too. Brent Stirton is doing my dream job. He is the senior staff photographer at Getty Images, New York in the assignment division. He does documentary work and portraits while he travels to the most amazing places.

Another photographer I found is James Nachtwey. He is doing similar documentary work in areas and situations that mainly get ignored. He works freelance but also has a contract with Time magazine.
